This is pretty late but huge congratulations to Jody for the recent grant awards. The lab is now funded by the Wellcome Trust and Cancer Research UK! This is in addition to the BBSRC grant that has been awarded to her and Prof. Riki Eggert, Prof. Sergi Garcia-Manyes, and Dr. Katelyn Spillane of King's and Prof. Anne Ridley of the University of Bristol. Amazing work, Jody!
Congratulations also to our PhD student, Lily Gates, for getting the 2020/21 Layton Science Research Prize, which is awarded to students for the best promise of aptitude and genius for original scientific work, for conducting investigations and solving practical problems. She received this honor for her MRes work, also done in our lab. Yay!
